This was stated by German MEP Lukas Sieper of Renew in an interview on the sidelines of the plenary session at the European Parliament in Strasbourg regarding the petition submitted by European citizens in defense of rights in the field of video games. The initiative aims to require publishers to ensure that video games they sell or license to consumers in the European Union remain in a functional state.
