François Kalfon, Socialist Party MEP, spoke in Strasbourg about the European reform of air passenger rights. He welcomed the preservation of compensation after three-hour delays, the inclusion of cabin baggage in the ticket price, free seating for children under 14 next to an accompanying adult, and free printed boarding passes.
According to him, these advances represent “a real victory for air passengers” against abusive practices by some airlines.
