“A record deficit of 360 billion with Beijing is unsustainable,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during a press conference ahead of the start of the G7 summit in Evian, France. “We must protect our market from unfair practices and coercion,” she added, announcing the launch of a G7 agreement on critical raw materials.
