“Monetary sovereignty allows us to reduce costs and strengthen our position,” stated Movimento 5 Stelle and The Left MEP Pasquale Tridico on the sidelines of the event “The Digital Euro, a Political and Strategic Choice for Europe.” The event was organized by the Italian Banking Association (ABI) and hosted by the political groups The Left, S&D, ECR, Renew Europe, and Greens/EFA. Fellow MEPs Marco Falcone and Gaetano Pedullà were also present at the press briefing.
