“We need to activate local resources, starting with associations and cooperatives,” said S&D MEP Irene Tinagli during a press briefing on the sidelines of the event “Competitiveness, Democracy, and the European Affordable Housing Plan: Cooperatives in Action.” The event aimed to discuss the role of housing in competitiveness and the link between the 2028-2034 EU budget and the European Housing Plan in terms of resources and investments.
