“For the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, the European Committee of the Regions provides an opportunity to showcase practical tools that are already being implemented today, in particular the initiative launched following last year’s Rome conference—TIPS4UA—which enables Ukrainian civil servants and elected officials to come to France and visit local governments to familiarize themselves with the local culture and receive training. Bourgogne-Franche-Comté is the first region to be selected for this program. Ukrainian civil servants and elected officials are currently in Dijon, notably to work on digital issues, where we have much to learn from one another.” This was stated by Patrick Molinoz, vice president of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and member of the European Committee of the Regions, during the European Alliance of Cities and Regions for the Reconstruction of Ukraine event in Gdańsk, Poland.
